Indulge in the ultimate chocolate experience with this decadent Triple Chocolate Pie. Featuring a rich chocolate crust, creamy chocolate filling, and a generous topping of chocolate shavings, it’s a chocolate lover’s dream come true.

Ingredients

Scale
  • For the Crust:
  • 1 ½ cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • For the Filling:
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 ounces milk chocolate, chopped
  • 4 ounces white chocolate, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • For the Topping:
  • Chocolate shavings, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust: In a medium bowl, combine the chocolate cookie crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie plate.
  2. Bake the Crust: Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 8-10 minutes. Let cool completely.
  3. Make the Filling: Place the semi-sweet chocolate in a heatproof bowl. Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan until simmering. Pour the hot cream over the semi-sweet chocolate and let it sit for a minute. Stir until smooth and melted.
  4. Add Other Chocolates: Stir in the milk chocolate and white chocolate until melted and smooth. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Pour and Chill: Pour the chocolate mixture into the cooled crust. Cover with plastic wrap, pressing it gently onto the surface to prevent a skin from forming.
  6. Refrigerate: Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the pie to set completely.
  7. Garnish and Serve: Before serving, garnish with chocolate shavings. Slice and enjoy!

Notes

For an extra touch, drizzle some melted chocolate over the top before adding the chocolate shavings. Serve with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
