Stuffed Mushrooms

Delicious and savory stuffed mushrooms filled with a flavorful blend of cheese, herbs, and breadcrumbs, perfect as an appetizer or snack.

  • 20 large button mushrooms, stems removed
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Clean mushrooms and carefully remove stems, chopping the stems finely.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté garlic and chopped mushroom stems until tender.
  4. In a bowl, mix sautéed stems and garlic with cream cheese, Parmesan, breadcrumbs, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  5. Fill each mushroom cap generously with the mixture.
  6. Arrange stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until golden on top.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

For a spicy kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the filling or top with a drizzle of hot sauce before serving.
