Spinach Garlic Chicken

A flavorful and healthy Spinach Garlic Chicken recipe featuring tender chicken breasts sautéed with fresh garlic and vibrant spinach, perfect for a quick and nutritious dinner.

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 cups fresh spinach, washed and chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and black pepper.
  3. Add chicken to the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side until fully cooked and golden brown.
  4. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  6. Add chopped spinach and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.
  7. Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice, stirring to combine and simmer for another 2 minutes.
  8. Return chicken to the skillet and spoon the spinach garlic mixture over the top.
  9. Cook for an additional minute to blend flavors, then serve hot.

Notes

For extra richness, add a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese on top before serving or pair with steamed rice or crusty bread.
