Smores Hand Pies

These Smores Hand Pies are the perfect portable treat! Flaky pie crust filled with gooey marshmallow and melted chocolate make for an irresistible campfire classic in every bite.

  • 1 box (14.1 oz) refrigerated pie crusts
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup marshmallow creme
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll pie crusts on a lightly floured surface. Use a 3-inch round cookie cutter to cut out circles.
  3. In the center of half of the circles, spread a small amount of marshmallow creme and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
  4. Top with the remaining pie crust circles. Use a fork to crimp the edges, sealing the filling inside.
  5. Brush the tops of the hand pies with the beaten egg and sprinkle with granulated sugar.
  6. Cut a small slit in the top of each hand pie to allow steam to escape.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For an extra touch, drizzle melted chocolate over the cooled hand pies.
