This Pesto Chicken Flatbread combines tender chicken, vibrant basil pesto, and melted cheese on a crispy flatbread crust for a flavorful and satisfying meal.

  • 1 flatbread (8-10 inches)
  • 1/2 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 3 tablespoons basil pesto
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the flatbread on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.
  3. Spread the basil pesto evenly over the flatbread.
  4. Top with shredded chicken, cherry tomatoes, and mozzarella cheese.
  5. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges of the flatbread are golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
  8. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, drizzle balsamic glaze over the flatbread before serving or add sliced red onions for a subtle bite.
