Oreo Cheesecake

This rich and creamy Oreo Cheesecake features a decadent chocolate cookie crust layered with a smooth vanilla cheesecake filling, studded with Oreo pieces for the perfect dessert treat.

  • 24 Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 24 oz (680g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 10 Oreo cookies, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C). Lightly grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. Combine the crushed Oreos and melted butter in a bowl. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the pan to form the crust. Bake for 10 minutes, then set aside to cool.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar together until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add sour cream, eggs, and vanilla extract; mix until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the chopped Oreos into the batter.
  6. Pour the batter over the cooled crust and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until the center is almost set but still slightly jiggly.
  8. Turn off the oven, crack the door, and let the cheesecake cool inside for 1 hour.
  9. Remove from oven and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, serve the cheesecake chilled with a dollop of whipped cream or a drizzle of chocolate sauce.
