Mint Oreo Balls

Deliciously rich and refreshing, Mint Oreo Balls combine creamy mint-flavored cream cheese with crushed Oreo cookies, coated in smooth chocolate for an irresistible no-bake treat.

Ingredients

  • 36 Oreo cookies (mint flavor preferred)
  • 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
  • 12 oz (340g) white chocolate or candy melts
  • Green food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a sealed bag and crushing with a rolling pin.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with the softened cream cheese until well blended.
  3. Using your hands, roll the mixture into 1-inch diameter balls and place them on a wax paper-lined baking sheet.
  4. Chill the balls in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  5. Melt the white chocolate or candy melts according to package instructions. Add a few drops of green food coloring if desired.
  6. Dip each chilled ball into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off, then place back on the wax paper.
  7. Refrigerate again until the coating is set, about 15-20 minutes.
  8. Store in an airtight container in the fridge until ready to serve.

Notes

For an extra festive touch, sprinkle crushed peppermint candies or green sugar crystals on top of the chocolate coating before it sets.
