Maple Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Tender roasted Brussels sprouts glazed with a sweet and tangy maple balsamic sauce, perfect as a flavorful side dish for any meal.

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Optional: 1 tsp Dijon mustard for extra tang

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Spread the Brussels sprouts onto the baking sheet in a single layer.
  4. Roast for 20 minutes, stirring halfway through, until they are crispy on the edges and tender inside.
  5. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, maple syrup, and Dijon mustard (if using).
  6. Remove the Brussels sprouts from the oven and drizzle the maple balsamic glaze over them.
  7. Toss gently to coat evenly, then return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven and serve warm as a delicious side dish.

Notes

For added crunch, sprinkle toasted pecans or walnuts on top before serving.
