Honey Ricotta Pizza

A deliciously creamy and lightly sweet Honey Ricotta Pizza topped with fresh herbs, perfect for a quick and elegant Italian-inspired meal.

  • 1 pre-made pizza dough (about 10-12 inches)
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh rosemary or basil leaves, for garnish
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to your preferred thickness and transfer it to a baking sheet or pizza peel.
  3. Brush the dough lightly with olive oil.
  4. Spread the ricotta cheese evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  5. Drizzle the honey over the ricotta cheese.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella over the top.
  7. Add a pinch of salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and crisp and the cheese is bubbly.
  9. Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh rosemary or basil leaves, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

For an extra flavor boost, sprinkle toasted pine nuts or a pinch of chili flakes before serving.
