Gluten Free Chicken Tenders

Crispy and tender gluten free chicken tenders, perfect for a healthy and delicious meal without the gluten. Easy to prepare and ideal for family dinners or snacks.

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 1 cup gluten free all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 1/2 cups gluten free breadcrumbs
  • Cooking oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a shallow bowl, mix gluten free flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk.
  3. Place gluten free breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
  4. Dip each chicken tender first into the seasoned flour mixture, shaking off excess.
  5. Next, dip into the egg mixture to coat completely.
  6. Finally, coat the chicken in gluten free breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
  7. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  8. Fry chicken tenders for 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels before serving.

Notes

For a healthier option, bake tenders at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through until crispy.
