Dumpling Ramen Bowl

A comforting Dumpling Ramen Bowl combining tender dumplings and flavorful broth with noodles and fresh toppings for a satisfying meal.

  • 8 frozen dumplings (pork or vegetable)
  • 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 2 packs ramen noodles (discard seasoning packets)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 cup sliced shiitake mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 soft-boiled egg, halved (optional)
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a pot, heat sesame oil over medium heat and sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant.
  2. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until tender, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Pour in the broth and soy sauce, bringing it to a simmer.
  4. Add frozen dumplings to the simmering broth and cook according to package instructions, usually 6-8 minutes.
  5. In a separate pot, cook ramen noodles until just tender, then drain.
  6. Divide noodles between bowls and ladle hot broth and dumplings over the noodles.
  7. Top with shredded carrots, green onions, chili flakes, and soft-boiled egg halves if using.
  8. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra richness, add a splash of chili oil or a drizzle of toasted sesame seeds before serving.
