  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 packet brown gravy mix
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup chopped carrot
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and brown the chicken breasts on both sides (about 3 minutes each side).
  3. Place the browned chicken in the crockpot.
  4. In a bowl, mix together chicken broth, brown gravy mix, cream of mushroom soup, and cream of chicken soup until well combined.
  5. Add chopped onion, celery, and carrot to the crockpot.
  6. Pour the soup and broth mixture over the chicken and vegetables.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  8. Before serving, shred the chicken with two forks and mix it into the gravy.
  9. Serve hot over mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a teaspoon of garlic powder or fresh herbs like thyme and rosemary. Serve with steamed vegetables or a side salad for a complete meal.
