Crock Pot Turkey Breast

  • 1 (3-4 lbs) boneless turkey breast
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh rosemary or thyme sprigs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, paprika, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl.
  2. Rub the turkey breast evenly with olive oil, then coat with the seasoning mix.
  3. Place the seasoned turkey breast in the crock pot and add chicken broth around it.
  4. Optionally, place fresh rosemary or thyme sprigs on top of the turkey for extra aroma.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Once cooked, remove turkey breast and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  7. Serve warm with your favorite sides.

Notes

For extra flavor, baste the turkey breast with the cooking juices halfway through cooking or add root vegetables to the crock pot to cook alongside the turkey.
