  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 packs ramen noodles (discard seasoning)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: soft boiled egg, sesame seeds, chili flakes for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper and add to the skillet. Cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove and slice thinly.
  3. In a pot, bring chicken broth to a simmer. Add soy sauce, sesame oil, and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
  4. Add ramen noodles to the broth and cook according to package instructions, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Divide cooked noodles and broth into bowls. Top with sliced chicken, green onions, and desired garnishes like soft boiled egg, sesame seeds, and chili flakes.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy a creamy, garlicky comfort meal.

Notes

For extra richness, stir in a spoonful of miso paste or add sautéed mushrooms to the broth before cooking noodles.
