A rich and satisfying creamy beef pasta dish that blends tender ground beef with a luscious parmesan sauce, perfect for a comforting weeknight dinner.

  • 8 oz pasta (penne or fettuccine)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp dried Italian herbs
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic, sauté until translucent.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
  4. Season the beef with salt, pepper, and dried Italian herbs.
  5. Pour in the beef broth and let it simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Reduce heat to low and stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese. Cook until the sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine everything evenly.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes while cooking the beef, or serve with a side of garlic bread.
