This Cranberry Pecan Cheesecake Ball is a festive and easy appetizer perfect for holiday gatherings. It’s a sweet and tangy blend of cream cheese, cranberries, and pecans that’s sure to be a crowd-pleaser.

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries, chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pecans, finely chopped, for coating
  • Dried cranberries, finely chopped, for coating
  • Crackers, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  2. Stir in chopped cranberries, pecans, and vanilla extract.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the mixture to firm up.
  4. On a plate, combine finely chopped pecans and finely chopped dried cranberries for the coating.
  5. Remove the cheesecake mixture from the refrigerator. Shape into a ball.
  6. Roll the cheesecake ball in the pecan-cranberry mixture until completely coated.
  7. Wrap the cheesecake ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the coating to set.
  8. Serve with crackers.

Notes

For a sweeter flavor, add a tablespoon of honey or maple syrup to the cream cheese mixture. You can also use different types of nuts for the coating, such as walnuts or almonds.
