  • 4 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
  • ½ cup heavy cream

  • Chopped peanuts

Instructions

  1. Make the Crust: In a medium bowl, combine the chocolate wafer crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate.
  2. Prepare the Filling: In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and peanut butter until smooth and creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar and beat until combined. Pour in the heavy cream and vanilla extract, and beat until the filling is light and fluffy.
  3. Assemble the Pie: Pour the peanut butter filling into the prepared chocolate crust and spread evenly. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the filling to set.
  4. Make the Chocolate Ganache: Place the chopped chocolate in a heatproof bowl. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it just begins to simmer. Pour the hot cream over the chocolate and let it sit for 1 minute. Stir until smooth and glossy.
  5. Finish the Pie: Pour the chocolate ganache over the peanut butter filling and spread evenly. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the ganache to set.
  6. Serve: Garnish with chopped peanuts, if desired, and slice to serve.
