  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie plate.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  7. Press the dough evenly into the prepared pie plate.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and set around the edges. The center will still be slightly soft.
  9. Let cool completely before slicing and serving.
