  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 2 stalks celery, sliced

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté onions, carrots, and celery until softened, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add chicken breasts to the pot and pour in the chicken broth.
  3. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and dried parsley.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
  5. Remove chicken breasts, shred them with two forks, and return shredded chicken to the pot.
  6. Add egg noodles and cook for an additional 7-8 minutes, until noodles are tender.
  7. Adjust seasoning as needed and serve warm.
