A deliciously easy baked cheeseburger recipe combining juicy ground beef, melted cheese, and classic seasonings that’s perfect for a quick dinner.

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato slices, pickles

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef, diced onions, ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into 4 equal patties and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake the patties in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over each patty.
  6. Return to oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Toast the hamburger buns if desired.
  8. Assemble the cheeseburgers with patties and your favorite toppings like lettuce, tomato, and pickles.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For extra juiciness, add a slice of tomato and a bit of mayo or special sauce to the buns before assembling.
