This Cheddar Ranch Cheeseball is a crowd-pleasing appetizer perfect for parties and gatherings! Creamy, cheesy, and packed with ranch flavor, it’s easy to make and always a hit.

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 packet (1 ounce) ranch dressing mix
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup crumbled cooked bacon (optional)
  • Crackers, pretzels, or vegetables for serving

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add the shredded cheddar cheese, ranch dressing mix, green onions, and bacon (if using). Mix well until everything is combined.
  3. Place the mixture onto a sheet of plastic wrap. Form into a ball and wrap tightly.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Before serving, unwrap the cheeseball and place it on a serving platter.
  6. Serve with crackers, pretzels, or vegetables.

Notes

For a spicier cheeseball, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the mixture. You can also roll the cheeseball in chopped pecans or walnuts for added texture.
