BBQ Chicken and Coleslaw Wraps

These BBQ Chicken and Coleslaw Wraps are a quick and easy meal perfect for lunch or a light dinner. Tender chicken is tossed in smoky BBQ sauce and paired with crunchy coleslaw for a flavorful and satisfying bite.

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce, your favorite brand
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 cups shredded cabbage mix
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 6 large tortillas

Instructions

  1. Cook chicken breasts: Grill, bake, or pan-fry chicken breasts until cooked through (165°F internal temperature). Let cool slightly, then shred or dice.
  2. Prepare BBQ Chicken: In a bowl, combine the shredded chicken with the BBQ sauce. Mix well to coat.
  3. Make Coleslaw Dressing: In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, celery seed, salt, and pepper.
  4. Assemble Coleslaw: In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage mix and shredded carrots. Pour the coleslaw dressing over the vegetables and toss to coat evenly.
  5. Assemble Wraps: Lay out tortillas. Divide the BBQ chicken and coleslaw evenly among the tortillas.
  6. Wrap: Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll up tightly.
  7. Serve immediately or chill for later.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the coleslaw dressing. You can also use rotisserie chicken to save time.
