Baked Jalapeno Chicken Dip

This Baked Jalapeno Chicken Dip is a creamy, spicy appetizer perfect for parties and gatherings, combining shredded chicken, cheeses, and fresh jalapenos baked to golden perfection.

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 2 jalapenos, seeded and finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional garnish: chopped green onions or cilantro

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth.
  3. Add shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, chopped jalapenos, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until hot and bubbly with a golden top.
  6. Remove from oven and garnish with chopped green onions or cilantro if desired.
  7. Serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or fresh veggies.

Notes

For extra heat, leave some jalapeno seeds in or add a dash of cayenne pepper. This dip is also delicious served with toasted baguette slices.
