This Bacon Cheddar Cheese Ball is the ultimate party appetizer! Creamy, cheesy, and loaded with crispy bacon, it’s sure to be a crowd-pleaser.

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 4 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 4 ounces cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans, for coating (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add the cheddar cheese, bacon, green onions, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix well until combined.
  3. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the cheese ball to firm up.
  4. Remove the cheese mixture from the refrigerator and form it into a ball.
  5. If desired, roll the cheese ball in chopped pecans to coat.
  6. Wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  7. Serve with crackers, pretzels, or vegetables.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or a dash of hot sauce to the cheese mixture.
