This Apple Butter Pie is a delicious twist on a classic fall dessert. The creamy, spiced apple butter filling nestled in a flaky crust makes it the perfect treat for any occasion.

  • 1 (14.1 ounce) package refrigerated pie crusts
  • 1 cup apple butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place one pie crust in a 9-inch pie plate. Crimp edges.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together apple butter, heavy cream, eggs, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until smooth.
  4. Pour filling into the prepared pie crust.
  5. Place the second pie crust on top of the filling. Crimp edges and cut slits in the top crust to vent steam.
  6. Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is set.
  7. Let cool completely before slicing and serving.
